Ralph Perrey: THDA Executive Director
Ralph Perrey assumed the executive director’s position in November 2012 following nine years’ service on THDA’s Board of Directors.
His tenure as THDA’s Executive Director has seen the agency revamp its mortgage products and down payment assistance program, establish the Housing CONNECT Team to interact with partners across the state, and launch the Rebuild & Recover program to help small communities hit by natural disasters. THDA has also been given responsibility for administering two additional federal programs – Weatherization and Energy Assistance.
Perrey also serves THDA’s national organization, the National Council of State Housing Agencies. He was elected as Secretary/Treasurer, becoming the first Tennessean to serve as an officer on the board.
Before joining THDA Perrey worked at Fannie Mae and on the senior staff of Tennessee Governor Don Sundquist.
